Promoters of Social Inclusion
Description
Established in 2022 by William Tolbert, PSI – Foundation (PSI, short for Promoters of Social Inclusion), is a Not-for-Profit Organization (NPO) based in Nairobi Kenya. PSI is committed to advancing inclusivity for all including persons with disabilities, grassroots women and youths. We champion for inclusive development and democracy so as to promote social transformation at the grassroots level through citizens’ empowerment.
At the heart of PSI’s theory of change is Social Inclusion (SI). We advocate for full social inclusion of persons with disabilities, grassroots women and youths in communities. We do this through deliberative workshop(s) where we inspire communities to embrace inclusion thus ensuring vulnerable persons participate in the development and democratic processes. We activate dialogues, conversions and build awareness that act as catalytic action that increase the number of persons with disabilities, women and youth participating in development and democratic processes, thus alleviating poverty and making them contributing members of the society.
PSI Foundation is registered as a Not-for-Profit Organization (NPO), Company Limited by Guarantee (CLG) in Kenya with aspirations to work across Africa. We are also proud members of Social Enterprise Kenya (SEK).
