Safe Light Initiative is a non-profit organization founded in 2018, by Sileshi “Sals” Umer, following his prior experience in public speaking, training, media & communications, and leadership. Although operating with funding as non-profits, Safe Light also engages in Income-Generating Activities (IGA). This gives the organization a social enterprise dimension to its activities. Such an approach helps in an environment where flexibility and adaptability are valued, now more than ever.

Safe Light’s mission, what we call the 3H approach, equips the “Head” with problem-solving knowledge, helping develop character & the right attitude within the “Heart” and finally empowering the “Hand” to work on entrepreneurial ideas and excel with creativity and innovation.
