Student Societies
Our Goal is to inspire and champion the most impressive pool of enterprising youth, especially those in Universities and Vocational Colleges and Universities in Uganda. We offer practical business support to enterprising students from all disciplines who aspire to run their own business or social enterprise. We also welcome those who are interested in gaining extra skills but don’t want to set up a business. NASE has built an ecosystem of networks that support and increase the capacity of youth to engage in innovative and entrepreneurial business development activities, thereby boosting their skills, confidence, and aspirations through student-led enterprise societies, practical programs, and inspiring events.
NASE’s programmes include, among others; workshops, guest lectures, simulations and business competitions designed to produce “market-ready” graduates with raised cognitive skills and an astute can-do mind set. We do this by championing peer-to-peer groups and student enterprise societies across over 20 Ugandan universities. Our bottom-up approach ensures that students at participating institutions have a platform from where they can be free and creative in their approach to enterprise and entrepreneurship. This is the birthplace of most of the Ugandan youth’s entrepreneurship flare. Over the years, we have directly and indirectly impacted over 15,000 students. With support, we believe we could do more, and have a target of impacting 1 million student entrepreneurs by December 2025.
